Arts Education is a major focus of the Peacock Performing Arts Center—it’s represented by the first word in our mission to “Preserve, Promote and Participate.” We endeavor to preserve the arts for future generations by offering quality educational programs to adults, children and youth.
All Early Bird packages go on sale November 1st through December 31, 2018. Package discounts range from 15-30%.

“A Cinderella Story”

After training with a professional singer, dancer and actress the campers will provide 2 performances of a 2 hour musical production complete with costumes, sets, sound effects and lighting. They will act, sing and dance on stage in a professional operating theater.
Saturday June 22, 7pm and Sunday June 23, 2pm

The next 6-week session of our popular Ballroom Dance classes, taught by former Arthur Murray Dance Director Laurel Adams, will be in November. Beginners on Mondays starting Nov. 19th, 7-8:30, and Intermediate/Advanced starting Tuesdays, Nov.20, 7-8:30.
We’re pleased to announce Center Stage at the Peacock, an after-school arts program for grades 3 – 8. The eight week program will run for 8 weeks beginning in January. The program ends with a Final Showcase presented by the students. Watch for more details in the future.
Ballroom Dance Classes
Ballroom Dance classes, taught by former Arthur Murray Dance Director Laurel Adams, have been a special favorite over the years. Couples or Singles are welcome to join our classes that feature the six most popular ballroom dances.
No advance registration necessary
Beginners = Nov. 19: 7 – 8:30
Intermediate/Advanced = Nov. 20: 7 – 8:30
Each class is $15/couple; $8 singles (no partner necessary)
5-week session, pay-as-you-go;’ session ends Dec. 17/18
Dress code: smooth soled shoes
I review every class, what was taught in the previous class; so it is okay to miss a class.
I teach Waltz, Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Rumba, Cha cha and International (not Argentinian) Tango.
Private Lessons;: $20 per couple/per hour.
